Coach Glassman during his open forum style  CrossFit 101seminar.  This was a great event to be a part of.   Coach shared his viewpoints and reasoning for operating the way he does, insight to the future of CrossFit and how to improve the community within your own box.  He took questions for over 5 hours and the feedback from both him and the attendees was great.  Please check the crossfit site to see when the next CrossFit 101 seminar.  It will be well worth your time.  Not to mention the great WOD at the end of the day.

ALL our athletes in this WOD actually paid attention to our running drills.....look at all of them falling forward using gravity to their advantage!!  Maybe if we keep posting running shots we can get Brian Mackenzie to host an endurance cert at our box??:)  We'll keep trying!

On this past Memorial Day we participated in the O.C Fire Authority Trevor Memorial Challenge.  In this picture, Mariah and Angela hit the pullups hard ( no band).  It was a great day to be a CrossFitter.  Being apart of CrossFit has allowed us to give back something to all the soldiers, Police, Fire Fighters who have served this country proud and given the ultimate sacrifice.....their lives.  Anytime a wod comes up named after a individual who has lost his/ her life, let's all remember that we do no have as bad as it could be.

Trevor Win'E Memorial Day Challenge

We will only be open for one workout on Memorial Day, May 25th.  The workout starts at 9:00 AM.

Four member teams will come together for the Trevor Win'E Memorial Day Challenge to participate in a team CrossFit-style workout. Each team entry fee of $200 pays for one cooling vest for folks on the front lines in Iraq or Afghanistan. The workout is open to everyone regardless of whether you choose to participate in the fundraising.

The workout named "Trevor" is:

300 Pull-ups then,
400 Push-ups then,
500 Sit-ups then,
600 Squats

This is a timed team event. These are cumulative reps with only two members of the team exercising at a time.
